    Windows 11 desktop icons are just horrible


    I was thinking this the other day, in fact this was the one of the reasons I rolled back to Windows 10.How did you people at Microsoft managed to create those icons? They look horrible,simple and makes no sense at all, icons from decade ago Windows XP had animated awesome looking icons it had on desktop. Why on earth you people suddenly decided to go with oversimple icons instead? They even ruined recycle bin have no animation at all so I don't know it is actually filled with removed files or not I had to check twice inside. Eventually I had to actually create a Win98/XP VM on VMware so I can

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

    Desktop Icons Won't Stay Put

    Hi Laurie,

    As per the issue description I understand that you are facing issues with desktop icons.

    I suggest you try the following step in order to arrange the icons.

    • Right click on the desktop.
    • Click on view
    • Check the option auto arrange icons.
