Windows 10: Windows 11 Desktop Icons When Selected the Highlighting is Hard to See on Blue Sky

I have a desktop background wallpaper with lots of sky. My desktop is covered with icons. When I select an icon the background of the icon highlights.The problem is the default highlight color is light blue. Light blue on sky blue is almost impossible to see. I want to change the default color to make the selected icon stand out.The system seems to have a multitude of visual settings. Settings such as "high contrast theme" remove the issue but I don't want high contrast, I just want to change the icon selection color.If I'm understanding correctly, this setting is part of the theme and ha

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
