Windows 11 disabling/enabling my sound card

Everytime the speakers are idle, my sound output gets disabled, causing a booming sound from speakers. Once I play anything youtube or any other sound the speakers first crackle loudly and only then the sound comes out. It looks like windows is disabling speaker output when speakers are idle. How to fix this? My Power Plan is already set to High Performance and I don't have Power Management tab in Device Manager. Please help, it is very annoying and I am afraid my speakers will break.Windows 11 ProOS Build 22621.963Acer Swift SF314-54G

  2. Installing Sound Card - need to disable onboard in BIOS?

Nope, it either disables it automatically or you have 2 sound cards installed.

Besides that you could try to use a decent topic title as suggested in the guidelines.

Sound Card not working after KB4503293 and KB4498523 update

    Hi PatrickEckert,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In order to get clarity on this issue and assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

    1. What is the make and model number of your computer?
    2. Are you seeing any exclamation mark in Device Manager?
    3. Are you using Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer or X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if you are able to use the audio.

    Method 1:
Selecting The Correct Playback Device In Sound Settings.

It might be that the speakers might have been disabled in the Sound Settings, so try the below steps and enable them if disabled.

    1. Right-click on the Sound icon from the
      Taskbar > Click on Sounds.
    2. Go to Playback tab > Right-click on the speakers > Click on
      Enable.
    3. If you are not able to see your speakers in the Playback tab, right-click on an empty area in the
Playback tab and click on Show Disabled Devices.
    4. Restart the computer once after enabling the speakers and check if you are able to hear the audio from the speakers.

If you are not able to hear the audio from the speakers, then I suggest you to follow
    Method 2 and check.

    Method 2:
Fix sound problems in Windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in
Fix sound problems in Windows 10
    and also the section
If you have no sound after installing updates in the same article and check if you are able to hear the sound from the speakers.
