Windows 10: Windows 11 - Disbling S Mode - "Get" Button Disappears or is unclickable

It was 8 months ago ... a sunny summer day, and I typed this into a YouTube video's comment section:"When I clicked on the "Get" button in Store,the button disappeared... like, poof, gone... and my PC still hasn't switched out of S Mode.I restarted and all, but it's still not working. Why the ''Start, taskbar...'s'' button is unclickable (TASKBAR COLOR)

Good morning,

I have been looking online to find the way to personalize my Surface 3 (colors, background, etc.).

The only problem is when I get to to change the color of my taskbar. The lists of steps that I need to follow bring me to Settings - Personalization - Colors and finally to ''Show accent color on the following surface'' where normally I would need to click
on ''Start, taskbar, action center'', but turn out the button does'nt work...

Can't disable Windows 11 S Mode, Get button disappears when I sign in

Hi, like the subject line says, I can't disable Windows 11 S Mode. I've tried the normal steps but the store page doesn't show a Get button at all, unless I sign out. Unfortunately this stupid thing requires me to sign in to download anything, and when I do... the Get button disappears. I've tried wsreset, I've tried using recovery to reset/reinstall windows, it's still broken.

The laptop is basically unusable for me in this state, how do you fix this? How do i disable this stupid S Mode nonsense at this point? Or do i just return the whole laptop back to the store for a refund.

Ok this is a tricky one, and i have been unable to correctly phrase to get sense from google/bing.......

• I click the windows start button and start typing "update" the top item found is "check for updates" (system settings "cog icon")
  BUT i cant click it or press enter or anything....

OR

• I click the windows start button and start typing "mouse" the top item found is "change your mouse settings" (system settings "cog icon") BUT i cant click it or press enter or anything....

I could go on BUT in short ANYTHING that is found from a search from the start button that is in the (system settings "cog icon") is "unclickable"

Help............................

P.S. i should also point another but less frequent issue is that doing bullet 1 sometimes doesnt return much at all other than third party stuff thats installed (e.g. dell update manager) i need to probably write a new question on this... just posted here
