Windows 10: Windows 11 dism stuck at 62.3 even after os reinstall

Hello i had a windows 11 with the vbscript uninstall and needed to reinstall the os. The problem is that the last windows 11 dism works fine and after windows 11 reinstall with the exact same settings and tweeks for perfomance boost the dism stucks at 62.3. Microsoft should be really take a look at this becouse in windows 10 it never did this

Win 11 reset stuck at 62%

Hello! Just read this Redirecting and i got the same issue, but mine is in the windows 11 update. What should I do? Follow the win 10 guide or take another line action? Thanks for the attention.

 

Stuck at 62% and nothing is happening

I am resetting my pc(not factory reset) and for more than an hour it is preparing to reset and is stuck at 62%. I tried cancelling and trying it again but still gets stuck at 62%.

We understand that you have a problem updating Windows 11 23H2.

Excuse me, do you have any specific errors except that the download progress is stagnant?

Generally speaking, it is normal that it takes more time to update the card at 62%. If there is no error, I suggest you wait patiently for a while (within 2 hours).

If the progress has been stuck at 62%, I suggest you try the following scheme:

1. reset Windows Update files and services:

2. Repair the system:

Restart the computer and try the update again.





If all the above schemes fail, you can also upgrade Windows 11 in place through Media Creation Tool.

This will refresh your Windows files and operating system without deleting files or applications. However, if there is important data in the computer, we still recommend backing it up in advance.

Once the backup is completed, please follow the steps in the following guide:

Visit the following site and click "Download Tool Now" (note that it is not "Update Now") to download Media Creation Tool.

- Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)to run MCT tool, create ISO image and run it.

-When the ISO file is downloaded, double-click it to open it and run setup.exe.

-Select "Not Now" on the "Get Updates, Drivers and Optional Features" page.

-Next, confirm your files and applications. Settings are reserved. It will also show you the version of Windows it wants to install.

If you need to enter the key, it means that the ISO you downloaded does not match your current system version.



-On the Select Content to Keep page, select Keep Files and Applications.

-Click Install to start the local upgrade.
