    It has occurred in a number of applications however most notably Mortal Kombat 1. I have reinstalled the Nvidia graphics drivers and have rolled back to the older drivers. I have run sfc /scannow but there are no integrity issues detected. Windows troubleshooter does not detect any problems. My capture card display also turns off when the display does. Plugging the HDMI cable into a different monitor does not bring it back up eitherI have a GTX 3090Ti and i911900KF, this only started occurring last week however rolling back drivers has not fixed this behavior

    Display randomly turning off

    I've been having a strange problem lately. My display would just turn off for no reason after the computer's been on for a few hours. VPU recoverer doesn't help like it usually does. This happens with both of my X1950 PROs, a rev2 Sapphire and a HIS ICEQ with the stock Sapphire cooler. They're not overheating or anything. I've tried reinstalling the drivers and it helped partially, it lasts alot longer before turning off, but still does it. Everything else still works though, music still plays, the programs still run, but there's no display. What could it be?

    happens to me as well, and it's extremely infuriating....

    Nothing like getting into CoH, having a good session, then having the display turn off... anyone know any fixes, cos it's happened to me with 8.2, 8.3, and 8.3 hotfix...

    HDMI turns off all displays

    A free check.

    Open Control Panel, Power Options, then Choose when to turn off the display. Make certain Turn off the display is set to Never and Put the computer to sleep is set to Never.

    I do not know if Nvidia or Windows causes a computer to act stupid, probably both. Check the above and see what your Windows settings are.

    Also, enter Control Panel, Apperance and Personalization, Display, Screen Resolution and make sure the display type [types] are correct, and that the resolution is correct.

    You can also navigate to that page by right clicking on the desktop, select personalize, Display, Change display settings OR Adjust resolution
