Windows 10: Windows 11 - documents folder is linked to onedrive instead of the pc storage. can't unlink it.

I recently got a new laptop and I'm not sure how windows 11 works. I noticed that my documents folder was just my OneDrive, which i don't want. When i tried to redirect it to the main storage, i get:I'm not sure how to get it to work. I don't want to unlink my onedrive completely because i use it often to transfer files.

Windows 10 Version 1803.

Under This PC, my Documents folder is linked to OneDrive. I would like to unlink it and redirect to C:\Users\jjcla\Documents. Please tell me how to do this.

Unlink Local Documents folder from OneDrive

Hi Greg, thank you for replying.

I've turned off the backup and unlinked my PC from OneDrive many times, but even without that link, the Local Documents folder is still routed to the OneDrive Documents folder. I'm assuming that when I did choose to back them up during set up, this connection
occured. I have gone through all the ways I can think of to unlink them, but nothing seems to work. Creating a new and separate Documents folder in C:\users\___ seems to result in nothing as well. I can't even seem to change the location of the Documents folder
anymore either.

If i am clear with your description, you want to unlink Onedrive from where is synced rigth now and start a syncrhonization in the following path C:\Users\jjcla\Documents is that correct?
