    Thank you for responding. No, this has nothing to do with full screen options. I mean I want all those thin lines around the windows to be thicker ... I prefer thicker borders on the windows.

    Thick border bug in Windows 10

    Wow- I have been looking for a way to get thicker borders, because I keep "grabbing" the wrong gray line and resizing the wrong window.

    Do you know how to get this effect? or has the problem disappeared after a later update.?

    Windows 11 does allow you to have a thicker border line.

    Open windows borders

    It shouldn't be white on white, there should be a colored line border, and a shadow, like this where I have a blue line on the top window, indicating it's active:

    You can change the color under personalization options in settings.

    If you want that border to be thicker, try this theme file:

    (if you don't like that theme, just right-click your desktop and go to personalize/themes to pick your previous theme
