    Windows 11 does not remember window size setting for Adobe Acrobat Reader


    I run Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS Build 22621.2283 1000.22662.1000.0 on a HP Spectre x360 Convertible BIOS F.24.I have a shortcut to Adobe Acrobat Reader on the desktop and have changed the window size from Normal to Maximum using Properties/Shortcut/Run/Maximized. I give Administrator permission and the required change is implemented. However even after doing thus, not all .pdf files open maximized, either from file storage or email attachments. Moreover, every so often and unrelated to anything else I'm aware of, the property for the shortcut reverts to Normal all by itself and I need

    Hi Rob,

    I discovered that lo and behold, my inability to open Adobe Acrobat Reader is not related to having Kaspersky Internet Security installed on my computer. I deinstalled Kaspersky and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader and the same problem is there. As a
    last step, I will deinstall Malwarebytes and Adobe Acrobat Reader and reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader and just verify that there is no interaction between the 2 programs. I think I am going to end up working with Adobe to resolve the problem which I don't
    look forward to.
