I am switching external monitors connected to my Dell Latitude notebook:Acer - max resolution 1920x1080 AOC - max resolution 2560x1440Suddenly windows setup keeps offering me only 1920x1080 resolution even for the AOC monitor.I proved that the monitor can provide 2560x1440 when connected to another dell notebook.I tried to plug/unplug, uninstall driver, restart the computer, search regedit with no outcome. How to force Windows to detect the AOC monitor fresh new and provide 2560x1440 as before?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 2560x1440 resolution

I have recently upgraded to the final version of windows 10 pro, 64bit machine. (Build 10240). After upgrading, I can no longer select 2560x1440 resolution for my philips 272C4 27 inch display. In my previous version (windows 7) this worked perfectly. The
display supports and recommends the 2560x1440 resolution when I check in the display menu. I have a radeon 6800 graphics card with the latest drivers version 15.20.1062.1002-150715a-187327C.

Any suggestions? How do I "convince" windows 10 that my display supports this resolution?

  3. Viewsonic monitor suggests 2560x1440 resolution however this resolution is not available as a display resolution in Windows

    Hello,

I have the equipment listed below:

My monitor is suggesting a 2560x1440 resolution but this resolution is not available in windows. I installed the latest driver for the monitor and installed the latest driver for the graphics card, still no luck. I have two monitors attached and they are attached to the PC using HDMI cables. The PC only has two display ports on the back, so I needed to use a HDMI to display port converter.

If anyone has any suggestions, it would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Ralph

Windows 11 does not show 2560x1440 resolution any more.

Can't select 2560x1440 resolution on new QHD monitor

I have just added an AOC Q27B3MA QHD monitor to my Windows 10 system (which has 2 other displays), and would like to use it in 2560x1440 mode. Windows (22H2 Build 19045.3803) does not allow me to select this resolution - the maximum it offers in the dropdown list is 1080p (1920x1080). I have a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB Twin Fan Graphics Card, which does support 2560x1440. Could anyone advise on how I can make use of the full resolution? EDIT: I have now managed to use the Nvidia Control Panel to create and apply a Custom Resolution: 2560x1440 @60Hz. I have now selected this, but the overall image quality is blurry compared to the other displays. Any idea how I might fix this?
