Windows 10: Windows 11 does NOT support an i7 processor??

I spent $2500 on this high-end laptop about 2 years ago. It has an Intel i7-6700 CPU @ 2.60 Ghz and 32 GBs of Ram and you do NOT support it? Do you really think I am going to go buy another high-end laptop JUST to run Windows 11?? We're also Windows 365 subscribers. But not a chance. Too bad you're a monopoly, or I'd ditch Windows and your censorship all at once.

Yes, the i7-7500U is on the list of supported processors for Windows 10 20H2

What you are missing is that the Windows PC Health check is checking against the list of supported processors for Windows 11 - and yours is not on that list.

@TenGetsYou5, though the checker correctly listed the 17-7500U as unsupported, you can still install the OS as it's still in beta form. However, as noted come October, things may change, and you may be required to revert back to Windows 10. For that reason, you may want to created a Windows 10 image "before" upgrading to 11.

That said, I'm currently running Windows 11 on both a laptop (i7-7600U) and desktop (i7-7700K) running i7 processors.
