Windows 10: Windows 11 doesn't recognize my camera for "Hello" sign-in - HP Laptop

Thanks for helping out here with this issue.
I did try the steps listed on the site you suggested. No luck, unfortunately.

The Logitech Brio can log in w Windwos Hello. But, the spacebar is still an issue. The built-in camera has the below issue FYI

I have tried to isolate the issue and just use the built-in HP camera. Now I get "Couldn't turn on camera. Please sign-in with your PIN"

I have also tried ALL of these steps as well. And Biometrics is enabled on the device and allows users to log-in using Biomtrics

I'm wondering if we can fix the missing camera issue if that would fix the first issue with the spacebar. Just a thought

 

Windows Hello on HP Spectre x360 - Couldn't Recognize You / Disabled by Administrator

Brand new HP Spectre x360, running Windows 10 Enterprise Fast Ring build (16199), and I have been nuable to get Windows Hello working. Two issues:

• Upon booting I try to facial recognition login - it always says "Couldn't recognize you" no matter the lighting conditions and angle
  
• Shortly after being logged in when I lock the PC is says "Windows Hello is currently disabled by your administrator"
  

I have tried the latest HP TrueVision FHD IR Camera driver. I have tried the Improve Recognition function, as well as completely removing and re-setting up. Our IT team has pushed a Group Policy that sets "Turn on convenience PIN sign-in" to Enabled.

When I had a Surface Pro 4 it worked flawlessly (always on Fast Ring builds), so I expected the same. Any guidance on how to troubleshoot from here?

 

Windows 11 is not recognizing my camera for Windows Hello.

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 5579 and I have been trying to get Windows Hello to work for months. The laptop has an IR camera for Hello, but Windows just recognizes it as just a normal camera. My main camera still works fine, but when I switch cameras to the IR one, the picture is grey and black and there's a red flashing light next to the physical camera.

I tried downloading all of the latest drivers for my laptop, but they didn't help windows recognize the camera as an IR one. I even tried disabling the camera in device manager and then restarting my computer, but that didn't help either. Both cameras are both recognized as front facing cameras and in device manager, they are recognized as Integrated Webcams.

The laptop used to run Windows 10 and it did the exact same thing then too. I actually don't know if it worked when I was first opened because I got it from someone and then did a fresh install of windows 10 immediately. I need help getting Windows to recognize the IR camera as an IR camera so that I can use Windows Hello.
