Windows 10: Windows 11 Doesn't Recognize Scanner

Windows 11Epson ET-2850 all-in-one printer-scannerStarlink internet through a Ubiquiti routerThe printer is plugged into the router. The PC communicates with the router wirelessly.1 The printer is installed correctly. The drivers are up to date.2 I have successfully printed multiple times3 I have gone to the Windows app store and downloaded the Scan app - the app does not detect my scanner. I restarted 3 times at different points in this process and it still does not detect.4 I cannot access the Device Manager because Windows 11 has hidden it completely so I cannot actually manage options

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"

Is there a workaround for that?

Re-install the TWAIN drivers? (They are not included in Windows.)

You might get a better answer if you gave the make and model of the scanner.

People don't all run the same build as you, nor do they necessarily get the same update... thanks!

Have you tried reinstalling the driver - and checked reports on compatibility of that particular scanner?
You may be better using the manufacturer's forum for the scanner.
