    Windows 11 drops packets randomly

so, i was returing from using linux for about half a year or so, it worked great, flawlessly with my machine, and i tried booting in with my win11 drive. everything ran pretty much better except that it took longer to open anything.worst thing i encountered was that the internet connection has been having really big issues. it would randomly have these phases were it didnt recieved packets for a full second, then resume for another half second and repeated for a long time. it was specially apparent in multiplayer games were it made them basically unplayable.i tried searching online for somethi

I am having these weird internet drops where it happens 1 - 2 times a day. I also have packet loss in game (I always see the icon of packet loss popping up in all the games I play)

I run my computer wired so it's not connected wireless. Not sure if any of this info means anything if something is bad here what is it and why? I don't really understand any of these things. Is there anything I need to bring up to my ISP? Thank you

    Windows 11 drops packets randomly

Windows 10 drops incoming TCP SYN packet for no reason

Quick answer, amazing. Didn't expect that getting an answer in a short time ;P Thank you.

I captured ALL traffic using Wireshark. I could see the source IP address was not from someone else, but was from a remote server controlled by me indirectly. Even if the packets was from "someone else", the firewall should
not drop them because I have told the firewall not to drop incoming TCP connections on certain port by adding firewall rules (I am pretty sure the rules are correct and should have been working fine).

Second, it's nothing to do with NAT or DHCP, because:

    1. I have setup static IP for my laptop, the DHCP server always assign the same IP to my laptop, and the port forwarding rule therefore will forward packets to correct IP
    2. I did have captured the forwarded SYN packets on my laptop, which means the NAT did not drop those packets but delivered them to my laptop successfully, so the port forwarding functionality of NAT is working great
    Any ideas?
