Windows 10: Windows 11 duplicated accounts issue

Hello there,First of all, I have read some other articles and even though the issue is the same, I cannot found in Settings -> Accounts -> Other accounts no accounts at all.My issue is that neither searching for "netplwiz" I can't reset any passwords or edit the admin account, even though I'm the admin.Any suggestions here? You can see the screenshot as well.Thank you.

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown

When you open the settings and navigate on the account settings, how many account did you see?

Kindly follow the steps below and check how many accounts is registered in your Windows computer.

Press windows key + R

Type: netplwiz

Press enter.

User accounts will appear, check how many accounts are listed.

If there are any duplicate accounts on your computer even if they use the same Microsoft account, then the duplicate account should appear on the list.

If there are 2 accounts listed, verify which is the duplicate account and remove it.

Kindly ensure to back up all your files first before doing the process to avoid data loss.
