Windows 10: Windows 11 Edge Browser Not Displaying Custom Fonts on Certain Websites

Hello everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with Microsoft Edge on my Windows 11 PC, where it’s not displaying custom fonts correctly on certain websites such as Sincere Mechanic. I’m currently running Edge version 118.0.2088.76. The fonts load fine on other browsers like Chrome and Firefox, but on Edge, I sometimes see a default font instead of the custom one. I’ve tried clearing the browser cache, updating Edge, and even resetting my internet settings, but nothing seems to work.Has anyone encountered this issue? Default fonts on certain websites appear squished across all browsers after windows update

The image is from Chrome but like i said in my post the problem exists in any browser: Edge, IE, Firefox, Chrome - all at the latest version; Zoom set at 100%. And it's not just the one website. It seems that windows is replacing the default body font
of certain websites. So, for example, if the website's default font is Arial Windows replaces it with whatever the heck that squished illegible font is.

Suggest you to optimize Microsoft Edge and check if that helps.

Once you open Microsoft Edge, click on “More action” located to the right top corner of the window. Click on “Settings” and clear browsing data. Once this is done close and reopen Microsoft Edge to check if this helps.
