    Windows 11 edu updates issue


    Hello I have a windows 11 image that was working perfectly until about 4 days ago. The computers with this image were updating fine, for over a year and any time I updated the image I would run the updates with no issue. As of around August 25, 2023 all iterations of this image stopped taking updates. The windows update service gets an error or says it working but pulls no new updates. All iterations of this windows 11 image stopped taking updates on August 25, 2023. No it's not a firewall issue as I too the firewall out of the equation as a test. This is an enterprise environment.     Definitely not an issue with the Windows Servers as I just re-installed yesterday and got all my updates.

    It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

    If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

    I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.
