    Windows 10 64 bit to 32 bit/Legacy Application - Enterprise Release

    Greetings:

    I am selecting hardware and O/S software to support a LEGACY application that will not run in 64 bit architecture. The initial allocation will be appx. 75 laptops. I need a licensed enterprise release (E3?) of Windows 10, however do not know if this version
    supports downgrade from 64 to 32 bit. Questions:

    1) For Win 10 32, what versions (Enterprise, Pro, etc) are available?

    As this is a mass fielding to a customer with security/internet access issues, we do not want periodic required updates, thus E3. But can E3 be downgraded to 32 bit?

    2) Is the 32 bit downgrade resident within the 64 bit installation software or will I need a physical disk?

    3) Given the volume, we will be imaging. What MS utility is best for this given our requirements?

    I don't have better steps - this is all, I have nothing to add.

    Maybe it is worth noting issue was on Windows 10 Enterprise, build 14393.187, so maybe you should test on the same.
    My other PCs have a different Windows 10 version - Pro, latest Insider Preview build from last week, and there is no such issue on those.
    All are 64-bit edition of Windows 10.

    This issue is not new. I have had same 1-2 years ago too, with older GPU-Z versions.

    EDIT: And yes, I have Windows 10 UAC enabled and set to defaults. If you are using your Windows PCs with UAC off, you likely cannot reproduce this issue. *Smile Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 64 bits show up as "Windows 10 Enterprise 2009" release :)
