    Has anyone actually managed to do this yet as I have had 6 hours trying to figure out if its possible, doing all the thing that everyone has said, all to no avail. If anyone knows or has figured it out, could you please post the answer in the forum.... Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    Faces to this troubleshooting, I finally succeed in installing my Espon R300 printer : you have to manually install it.

    From the Windows10 Control Panel, open "Printer and devices", "Add a printer". At the bottom, click on "the desired printer is not indicated". In the new window, "add a local printer...", and next "use an existing port ..., choose USB001.

    To install the driver, choose your Epson Stylus R300 (M) in the printer list, and next, use the installed driver.

    Maybe at this step it will not be efficient. So, go back to the Control Panel, "Printer and devices", your Espon R300 may appear.

    In "properties of the printer", "Advanced" tab, choose, "New driver". For the Espon R300, two drivers exists : ver.6.1.6385 or ver. 6.1.7600.

    Try maybe the 6.1.6385 version.

    Epson Stylus Photo R300 and Windows 10

    W10 does not see my Epson R300 which is connected via USB. It shows on the USB port, but does not appear in any printer lists. It used to work in this configuration. Epson says drivers will be loaded by W10. Where are they? I have latest updates applied.

    Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer

    Windows 10 installed to a Windows 7 desktop and 2 weeks later to a Tablet 8.1. In each case the download and install were completed but neither recognised my Epson Stylus Photo R300 Printer, although other printers seemed to be installed. Epson advise
    that windows 10 will have the new drivers required and there is no appropriate driver available.

    The original set up disc has been lost and the copy I made seems to be corrupt. Help or do I need to replace a good printer with a more up to date version?
