Windows 10: Windows 11 Error Loading Extension failed to load extension from:...

For a few weeks now, I have been receiving this message when I Start my PC which is running Windows 11. Error Loading Extension - Failed to load extension from: C:/WINDOWS\system32\tower_main. Manifest file is missing or unreadable. How do I fix this?

Comodo privdog extension failed loading

I tested the download of it on IE and had no problems... Google did not block it.

However, Chrome has had some changes recently and this is why you, maybe, are having a problem... Privdog is not provided by the Chrome Store, I believe.

A browser extension is a plug-in that extends the functionality of a web browser. If you are referring to extension manager of Microsoft Edge browser. Follow these steps to add an extension for Microsoft Edge:

Note:If you don't have the Windows 10 Anniversary Update or later, this option will not be available.

• Open the Microsoft Edge and type about:flags into the address bar.
• Select the Enable extension developer features checkbox and then
  restart your browser.
• Select More (...) to open the menu.
• Select Extensions from the menu.
• Select the Load extension button.
• Navigate to your extension's folder and select the Select folder button.
