Windows 10: Windows 11 Ethernet and WiFi properties showing dll details not name

Hi,I've recently completed a brand new build and installed Windows 11 Pro. I've also installed all of the latest drivers and have the latest BIOS version on my motherboard.However, I've noticed under my network settings that the property details are all scrambled and relate to dll's etc as opposed to what their actual name is - making it hard to identify what the options are to configure. I've done an extensive search on Google and can find several others have had this issue - their solution all seemed to point to it being down a programme called 'Sentinel AV' - However, I do not have this i

Based on the details provided, it is possible that your network adapter was blocking you to access the ethernet
properties. We recommend that you uninstall your network adapter and scan for hardware changes. To do this, follow these steps:

Uninstall network adapter:

• 
  In the search bar, type
  Device Manager
  and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  Select the name of your network adapter and right-click.
  
• 
  Choose
  Uninstall.
  
• 
  Select
  "Delete the driver software for this device".
  
• 
  Click on
  Uninstall.
  

Scan for hardware changes:

• 
  In the search bar, type
  Device Manager
  and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  Choose
  Action.
  
• 
  Select
  "Scan for hardware changes".

Ethernet Connection Display Name not showing

Hi Poovendhan. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator. If you will work with me I will be here to help until the issue is resolved.

Is the icon in System Tray for ethernet, e.g. a cable and plug symbol? If so it doesn't normally show a network name except for Wifi networks.

If you want to connect to your Wifi network of that name, you'll need to have a Wifi adapter with the latest driver installed, then the list should show up in from the same icon which will now be a radio waves symbol.

If your Ethernet is not connecting, right click to Troubleshoot problems, choose a specific Adapter > Ethernet. What does it report?
