Windows 10: Windows 11 Event log filled with thousands of Http Service Events 111, 113, 114 and 117

Using Windows 11 up to date and and event viewer is filled with the following events:Event 111, HttpServiceCreate URL group 0xFE0000022000000D. Status 0x0. Process Id 0x11BC Executable path \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\svchost.exe, User LOCAL SERVICEEvent 113, HttpServiceAttempted to add URL http://*:5357/c28dbf24-636b-4a58-9b7f-23bece36472a/ to URL group 0xFE0000022000000D. Status: 0x0. Process Id 0x11BC Executable path \Device\H

Solution for reviewing Service Start/Stop events in Windows 11

Thanks for the suggestions.

1. Unfortunately, there is no option for Service Control Manager under Applications and Services Logs >Microsoft -> Windows on Windows 11
   
2. WPR may assist with this
   
3. As mentioned in my post, there are no events in the event logs. This suggestion was not helpful.
   
4. This would be a viable solution if the client had Active Directory or an RMM tool to deploy this to all their endpoints. Unfortunately, they have neither of these solutions.
   
5. I will look into this.

How do I fix the Event Viewer Errors 107, 113, 117, 7031, & 10010?


Hi! I have an issue with Windows 10 Pro that causes Windows Media Player to stop playing whatever it is playing and Windows Media Center Extender (Xbox360) to crash (yes I got WMC and extenders to work on Windows 10) that I have determined to be caused by the following event viewer errors/warnings. I hope that if I can fix these errors/warnings my problem will no longer occur. Event ID's: 117, 7031, and 10010 occur when WMC crashes whilst Event ID's 107 and 113 occur beforehand (these warnings might not matter at all).

I checked regedit and 784E29F4-5EBE-4279-9948-1E8FE941646D = AUSessionConnectTaskHandler Class 1.0

If anyone knows how to fix these errors please post below thanks!

"Windows Event Log" service not starting

When I start the "Windows Event Log" service I get the following error:

Windows could not start the Windows Event Log service on Local Computer.

Error 15008: The specified xml text was not well-formed. See Extended Error for more details.

Any suggestion on how to make this sevice work again?
