Windows 10: Windows 11 Explorer Slow BUG - how to check and fix it

Windows 11 has one nasty bug that slows down Explorer. When you open any folder, you will first see a blank screen for a fraction of a second, and only then will the files appear. This creates a feeling of Explorer slowing down and frequent blinking of windows. To fix this you need to press "F11" button 2 times - enter full screen mode and exit it. Now when you open a folder files will appear instantly, without blinking and Explorer will work faster. This works until the window is closed. are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

Explorer 11 bug

Ran into this problem on a client PC at work today. IE 11 broke flash embeds on certain sites. I fixed my problem (yahoo in this case) by enabling compatibility mode for that site only. This is a spread out issue with people from all over talking about it apparently it happened in a recent patch. my way worked for me but others suggest changing the activeX filtering in the safety tab.
