Windows 10: Windows 11 explorer starts QueryDirectory at large scale triggered at each time open a file

After i upgrade to win11 this year, every time windows boot, a hard diskHDD which contains 6.9 million filesin 'T:\Replays' would continues in load. explorer will continues QueryDirectory of the folders of that disk. this could kept 5 minutes or longer, its a background task, but the explorer.exe continues access this physical disk, btw even i have already disable the index service also the windows search service, and it display index service is disable in the start menu, also shows index not working in the index settingsbut which worried me is not that issue, the things really confused

Windows Explorer crashing due to large files

thats wierd... iv never had a large file crash explorer before....


and i have files ranging upto 80GB...

 

File Explorer not showing Extra large icons

Hi,

The icons might be set to appear in medium or small icons. For you to get extra large icons, follow these steps:

• Open File Explorer.
• Right-click in an empty space and navigate to View > Extra large icons.
