New Dell OptiPlex Small Form Factor 7020 BTX w/Windows 11; 2 monitors, extended display, recognizes monitor 1 and 2, placement correct, etc. 2 issues: mouse gets stuck on screen 2 very difficult to get it back on screen 1. open 2 programs on screen 1, can't drag anything to screen 2. Updates are current, rebooted. Please help. thx

Hello sunconference, Please click Monitor 1 and there's a smallbox for you to set it as the Primary Display you may also want to interchange Monitor 1 and 2 by dragging the other Monitor to the other side since your mouse cannot go to the other screen
when extended I assume the arrangement of the Monitor is wrong and by interchanging it might fix the problem.

Desktop icons moved to monitor 2 from monitor 1

1. Yes, monitor 1 is to the left and monitor 2 is to the right.

2. I can move things between the two.

3. Mouse works fine.

4. I tried moving one icon and it did drag from monitor 2 to monitor 1.

5. I am sorry but I don't know what screen placement means.

6. The task bar on monitor 2 just recently showed up on monitor 1 so I have that twice.

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
