Windows 10: Windows 11 External Monitor 3D mode

Hello communities,As titles, I'm using ROG Ally with external monitor, today I accidentally tapped the 3D mode and both my ROG Ally and external monitor start flicker. After flicker few times, my AMD Radeon Graphics crashed with error 43. Whenever I connect back the external monitor, it just keep on flicker and crashed.I tried the so many solutions, like deleting registry key, booting safe mode and uninstall/reinstall the graphics driver, but all not works on me. I only have one external monitor, so I can't test by using second monitor. Very appreciate with any possible help or solutions. Will

External monitor blanking often

Please answer these questions to assist you better.

• What is the make and model of your computer and external monitor?
• Have you installed all pending Windows and driver updates?
• Do you get any error message?

I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates in your PC and also update Display drivers. Follow the steps below.

Step 1: I would suggest you to check and install any latest Windows Updates available.

• Go to Start and then Settings.
• Click on Update and Recovery.
• Check for updates under
  Windows Updates.
• Restart the system and check if the issue is resolved.

connecting to external monitor whilst in tablet mode

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties when trying to connect your Envy x360 to an external monitor while in tablet mode.

Regarding your issue, I'd suggest trying to connect the external monitor while in laptop mode to ensure that it is detected properly by the computer. Once you have successfully connected the monitor, you can then switch to tablet mode and the display should continue to function as expected.

If that doesn't work, you can also try adjusting the settings for your display by going to the "Display Settings" in your control panel. From there, you can select the external monitor and adjust the resolution, orientation, and other settings to ensure that it's functioning properly.

Windows 10 External Monitor only :: How to set Portrait orientation?

I surmise the need for step recorder is not common enough to justify enabling the option for Intel driver.

Screen Capture Mouse Cursor position on External Monitor is why I create this post.

When it cannot capture Mouse Position, I use Steps Recorder but it records both Displays...

My Screen Capture is used for following:

1. Power Automate Cloud
   
2. Office 365
   
3. communicate to Tech Support
   

Hoping Microsoft would add features to next version of

1. Step Recorder
   
2. Snip App(s)
   
3. Windows Display setting
   

Assuming most users like me need

1. Mouse cursor position captured by Snip App(s)
   
2. External monitor, when used, is often
   
   1. to extend Display
      
   2. used for important task(s)
      
   3. App such as Office is on External Display
      
   4. Laptop monitor for secondary task(s)
      
   5. Step Recorder is to demo use of Single App, therefore External Monitor
      
   6. Portrait oriented for capturing web pages like Power Automate
