  1. Windows 11 - Extracting files from a zipped folder via drag-and-drop forces auto-arrange...

Since I upgraded to Windows 11, I find that every time I drag a files from a zipped folder to the desktop, the files are not placed where I dragged them to. Instead, they are placed according to auto-arrange behavior, even though I have auto-arrange switched off. This doesn't happen when dragging files from regular folders; those land where I placed them or the closest grid position. Is this a known issue?

    :)

Auto arrange won't allow me to drag & drop files in their folder

It's much faster to rename my files by the batch if I can drag & drop them in the order I want them first. In windows 10 it seems I'm forced to rename each file separately to organize them how I need them.

Is there some way I can't stop auto-arrange hijacking control from me?

    Folders with zip files

I have like 30 or more folders and everyone of them has only one single zip file.
How can I extract all zip files inside of all folders?

    Extracting Zip Files

Are the step-by-step processes identical? That is, the folder extracted from and the folder extracted to belong to the same hierarchical file system structure. If they are, that suggests mildly the Cumulative Update left an electron or two out of place.
