Windows 11 Factory Reset - Inaccessible Loop

Yesterday, I did a full reset on my desktop running Windows 11 and had it remove everything, downloading resources from the cloud. Now, it's stuck in some kind of restart loop where it flashes on, the screen flashes a 64% status, then immediathely shuts down again before starting that cycle over. I can't even access the screen or any controls it does it so quickly. After 4 hours of this and a number of forced shutdowns, I've shut it down and unplugged it.Any ideas if that doesn't work?

    :)

  2. Looping after factory reset

There is not much to do than again factory reset your computer.

Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery starts automatically if Windows will not startup. The recovery environment allows you to diagnose hardware issues, repair issues, back up files, and restore factory settings. You can start the recovery environment at any time.
Verify the list of systems on which Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery is supported.

You should able to factory reset with Windows 10 Installation DVD. You can create Windows 10 installation DVD/USB with Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.

    Looping after factory reset

I got a Dell 5559 on Windows 10. I was having a problem where the computer showed it was connect to internet but it wouldn't pull up any web page or do anything that requires internet. I tried to do a factory reset and now it's looping with this screen. Any help?

    Factory Reset 64% Loop

    Hi,

There are many factors that we can consider why the factory reset doesn't finish successfully. One factor we can look at is your hard drive. There may be some corrupted files or bad sectors that is why the reset can't proceed. As our initial troubleshooting
step, we recommend that you check the disk for possible file corruption. Kindly follow the steps provided below to perform this method.

    • Press Windows key and type "cmd".
    • Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
    • Copy and paste this command: chkdsk /r/f, and then hit
      Enter
      .

Let us know how that turned out for you.
