Windows 10: Windows 11 fails to connect to share

I have two brand new builds with Windows 11 Home installed. Facts verified:1. same network/subnet/IP range2. not on "pubic" network3. Can ping IP address of the remote system4. Can ping PC name of other IP5. Can see remote PC name in NETWORK UI6. No deny logs found for firewall - even turned off firewall as a test without change7. Using ESET Business8. Of course, MS has blocked access to gpedit.msc - I have run a couple of BAT files to enable gpeditI have this on another client that I have access to gpedit.msc but nothing fixed issue for that client. I am thinking there is some UPDATE that is

We also need which of the following cases of network sharing applies to your case:

1. One laptop using its Ethernet connection for Internet access and its WiFi adapter to broadcast.

2. One laptop that is connected to the Internet through a mobile USB modem and broadcasts the wireless network through its WiFi adapter.

As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to check if the following steps help to resolve the issue.

Step-1. Disable wi-fi adapter.

Step-2. Enable it again.

Step-3. Create wi-fi hot spot again.

Step-4. Now share network connection from where internet is connected to wi-fi hotspot adapter.

Is it possible to share internet connection via remote desktop?

RDP is not capable of Internet sharing, so you can't share Internet using RDP with standard applications. There are many way to share Internet from a Windows box to another one. I suggest you to use VPN. You should do following steps:

1. Run VPN Server on your server with unlimited internet access
   
2. Connect to VPN server from your limited computer
   

 

RPC configuration for network shared printer Windows 11 23H2

I am referring to the post at Windows 11 Error message 0x00000709 when trying to install shared - Microsoft Community . For solution given by Ramesh Srinivasan below:

I need clarification for the given steps from the link above that is this need to be configured for both PC which are PC that

• direct connect to the printer via USB and share the printer,
  
• and PC that wants to connect to that printer ?
