Windows 10: Windows 11 fails writing dvd

After the last update Windows 11 fails writing with each and every dvd I try does not matter what burner software I try, does not matter on which burner hardware I try I have a built in sata and an outer usb driver as well. I tried native windows burning, tried several burner software, with differend speeds with the same results. I have Ubuntu also on the same computer as dual boot. Ubuntu writes the same data, with the same hardware does not matter which burner hardware I use.Of course I cannot try the same piece of medium DVD failed to write on Windowes, but while burning on Windows c

Windows 11 DVD Write Issue

I recently purchased a ROOFULL optical drive. I'm unable to clone DVDs with my new laptop with Windows 11. I've tried multiple software packages including WinX DVD Copy Pro, AVS Disc Creator and VLC and Media Player. They all work on Windows 10 but on 11 I keep getting a write error IDiscFormat2Data->Write Failed! Error 0xc0aa020d. Can this issue be resolved? Thanks

 

DVD+/- won't read or write on Win 10

I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the CD/DVD drivers from the manufacturer's website and then check. You can follow the steps given below to uninstall the CD/DVD drivers.

Follow these steps to Uninstall DVD-CD ROM driver.

• Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Search for DVD-CD ROM driver
  and expand it.
• Right click on the DVD-CD ROM
  driver and select Uninstall.

Do not restart your computer, go to the manufacturer’s website and download the latest drivers and install it.
