Windows 10: Windows 11 February updates preventing ability to get into BIOS? Gigabyte motherboard

On around February 17th 2022, my computer stopped showing the motherboard manufacturers logo at boot screen Gigabyte and I can no longer enter the bios or boot set up. Even if I do an advanced start up through windows, it still prevents it from loading. In fact, when I do an advanced start up from windows, the PC will restart but will not boot to windows until I manually force a shut down and start it again. So even when I follow every instruction of how to get into the bios, nothing works.When it first happened and I noticed because I needed to change some settings in the bios, I reset the

How to update the BIOS and boot logo on a Gigabyte Designaire EX X399 motherboard

I have been trying to update the boot splash screen on the above BIOS (Gigabyte's aestethic is not my aesthetic) but the @BIOS program supplied by Gigabyte fails to install any bios updates at all. When attempting to install an updated stock BIOS, the program attempts to erase the BIOS chip and fails. It also often fails to load any alternative boot logo I attempt to use when using Gigabyte's Face Wizard software built into @BIOS.

My system is specced as follows: AMD Threadripper 1920x processor, 32GB ECC RAM (4x8GB), MSI Geforce 760 graphics card, 1TB Samsung Evo 970 NVME SSD. The hard drive is Bitlocker encrypted using the Threadripper internal TPM 2.0 module. Windows 10 version 1809.

So I have two questions

1. How do I update the motherboard BIOS from within Windows?
   
2. How do I flash an alternate boot logo on this system given how unreliable Gigabyte's software seems to be?

Windows 10 would not install without the betabios (F2J) update on the bios motherboard.

After the update, automatic updates will not install Windows 10 automatically, you must use the MediaCreationTool X64 or X32 depending on your previous OS.

Windows 10 will not boot unless changes are made in the BIOS screen of your Gigabyte MB:

OS type: other

Boot mode select: UEFI and Legacy

Storage Boot Option Control: Legacy First

other PCI device rom: Legacy OpRom

under Peripherals:

onchip sata: Native IDE

Without these changes, Windows 10 boots into a redundant cycle of diagnostic and repair attempts. Make sure your Bios is the F2J before installing Windows 10, and the BIOS changes are made prior to running the MediaCreationTool.

 

Motherboard issue. Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H fm2+

I have an older Gigabyte motherboard. Check the following.

1. Do the 'paperclip test' on the PSU to ensure it turns on on command from the motherboard - already done?
2. Check the security of the PSU cable connections - already done?
3. Contact Gigabyte Support to obtain the latest BIOS since they do not publish the latest BIOS for old motherboards. Load the BIOS defaults after update.
4. Replace the CMOS battery and load the BIOS defaults. A new battery should be c. 3.2V. My motherboard plays up if the voltage drops below 2.8V
5. Turn off Fast Start Up and Fast Boot in the BIOS settings
