windows 11 febuary update wrecked all video rendering that relies on windows to render the video

these forced updates are the ONLY THING THAT CAUSES HARM TO MY DEVICES.

the most recent update wrecked video rendering that relies on windows. all apps that use external rendering are affected. VLC, Gom use internal renders and work fine. BUT these are NOT my main players.

primary player is POT player 64 bit, which was effected by the update. also windows media players also were effected the exact same way.

when it uses the default auto select it uses what ever windows is using. or what ever the other effected players are. the video looks like saturation is stuck at 200% with no way to adjust it. so it looks like yellow bloom and unwatchable.

THIS IS SPECIFICALLY CAUSED BY WINDOWS UPDATE THAT FORCED ITSELF ONTO MY SYSTEM ABOUT A WEEK AGO.

I know its not the hardware because vlc and gom work right .which use entirely internal renders and the fact it affected MULTIPLE PLAYERS that use the same rendering process.

Also if I select Madshi video render for pot player it works the way its suppose to. But several others will not work correctly since the forced windows update.

THis affects all video formats dvd, files, everything with a video. that I have tested thus far.

WE NEED A WAY TO BLOCK WINDOWS UPDATES PERMINENTLY SO THAT IT CAN ONLY BE DONE MANUALLY WHEN WE KNOW THERE ARE NO ISSUES WITH UPDATE. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE WHEN THE ONLY GROUP THAT IS WRECKING OUR WORKING DEVICES IS MICROSOFT!.

Any solutions to resolve this issue please help as disabled homeless I can't afford to lose my $1000 laptop that I need for communication etc. the only people causing me problems is microsoft itsself. .

Win11 by default does not install Drivers, you obtain these only from the Laptop maker using the shortcut on your sytem to their update utility

Win11 only auto installs critical win updates.

You fail to say what update, the Kb?

Pop player doesnt appear to be win 11 compatible

Videos will not render correctly in Windows 10

I recently updated to Windows 10 and find myself unable to play video content correctly. I've seen other posts about videos playing only sound but my case seems a little different. When I play a video I don't see a black screen with sound. I see a picture
only partially rendered. I get a video that renders properly maybe 50-75% of the screen split vertically. The remainder of the screen takes the last column of pixels rendered and stretches it over the remainder of the video screen.

This happens whether I use the Movies & TV app, Windows Media Player, Edge Browser, Internet Explorer browser (tried in compatibility mode), or Chrome browser. I happens no matter the video format and no matter whether I'm trying to stream or playing something
    saved on my harddrive.

Every now and then I get a video to play correctly, but It probably doesn't work >90% of the time, now.
