these forced updates are the ONLY THING THAT CAUSES HARM TO MY DEVICES. the most recent update wrecked video rendering that relies on windows. all apps that use external rendering are affected. VLC, Gom use internal renders and work fine. BUT these are NOT my main players. primary player is POT player 64 bit, which was effected by the update. also windows media players also were effected the exact same way. when it uses the default auto select it uses what ever windows is using. or what ever the other effected players are. the video looks like saturation is stuck at 200% with no

Videos will not render correctly in Windows 10

I recently updated to Windows 10 and find myself unable to play video content correctly. I've seen other posts about videos playing only sound but my case seems a little different. When I play a video I don't see a black screen with sound. I see a picture
only partially rendered. I get a video that renders properly maybe 50-75% of the screen split vertically. The remainder of the screen takes the last column of pixels rendered and stretches it over the remainder of the video screen.

This happens whether I use the Movies & TV app, Windows Media Player, Edge Browser, Internet Explorer browser (tried in compatibility mode), or Chrome browser. I happens no matter the video format and no matter whether I'm trying to stream or playing something
    saved on my harddrive.

Every now and then I get a video to play correctly, but It probably doesn't work >90% of the time, now.

    Video rendered at slight angle

    Hi All,

Windows 10 with latest patches on an HP laptop.

Did a search for this and didn't find anything. Whenever I do a video screen capture or render video it's at a slight angle when I play it back. This happens no matter how I'm creating the video - video screen capture or using an app to render some video or editing some video with HandBrake. When I play the video in VLC or some other player it will be at a slight angle. This issue has been happening ever since I got this laptop about 2 yrs ago.

Anyone else experience this problem? How to fix? Thanks,

If needed, feel free to move this post to a more appropriate forum.
