    Windows 11 firewall is blocking me from accessing Rhino website


    Hi,This is what I see when try to access rhino - "This site can’t be reachedThe webpage at https://accounts.rhino3d.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.ERR_ADDRESS_INVALID"I have contacted Rhino agents and they told me it's my Windows firewall issue, their websites are good. I have also tried to restore my firewall settings and restart my computer, but no luck.

    Windows Firewall blocking websites

    I have blocked IP addresses, e.g. 255.255.255.255, not URLs, e.g. somewebsite.co m.

    As far as unblocking, look at your Windows Firewall rules. Do you see anything that is blocked? If you do, click on the Scope tab and see what is listed there.

    Windows 11 blocking access to .edu websites.

    I updated my laptop yesterday with Windows 11 and now whenever using Chrome or Edge, my institution's websites are blocked. I am an employee at a university and need access to these. I get the same message everytime for both Chrome and Edge (see below). I've tried to troubleshoot and have gotten nowhere. Please help!

    This site can’t be reached

    www.depts.ttu.edu unexpectedly closed the connection.

    Try:

    • Checking the connection
    • Checking the proxy and the firewall
    • Running Windows Network Diagnostics
    ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
