Windows 10: Windows 11 flashing screen and no menu bar after login

This computer is fairly new. It was working for several weeks. Multiple folks have access but none should have changed any settings. About a week ago, we lost the ability to login.We reboot the computer. The login screen comes up with an account. We enter the password.. It shows 'Welcome' and updates for a few seconds. After that the screen flickers black and gray. After a minute, some icons appear on the screen. Sometimes as white boxes and other times with the icon image. The menu bar never shows up..Control-alt-delete works and brings up the Task Manager but it constantly reloads. Very diff

The only real usage issues with Windows 8/8.1 are the Start screen and Charms bar. Luckily they're doing away with the Charms bar and they've brought back the traditional Start menu, but with tiles.

I liked the tiles, but the fact that it needed a whole screen was not very productive unlike Windows 7.

 

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )
