Windows 10: Windows 11 - Forced & Unexpected Automatic Reboot - Lost Hours of Work

I've been running a lengthy FEA electromagnetic simulation using specialized professional software on Windows 11 Pro. The simulation had been running for days. Then Windows 11 rebooted itself - automatically after an update. Now I have to restart the simulation and lost days of work that cannot be recovered - all because Windows reboots after an update. The vendor of this software told me they can provide me with a Linux version of their software. Due to how impossible it is to simply stop Windows from automatically rebooting itself I will need to use Linux over Windows.

There's no realistic way to prevent Windows 10 from automatically rebooting itself after an update. =(

Doesn't work. That's because there is absolutely no way at all to prevent Windows 10 from automatically rebooting after an update. I've lost many hours of work because of these forced reboots. This is why people use Apple macOS.
