Windows 10: Windows 11 generic bluetooth keyboard driver fn key issue

I have multiple keyboards I can use with my desktop pc which is running windows 11. I exclusively use this PC for gaming, as such I want the keyboard to trigger the F# keys, not the fn actions assigned to them. I have a wired keyboard which uses the generic windows 11 usb keyboard driver, it has FN keys, hitting F1 triggers the F1 actions, while fn+F1 tiggers the fn action, this is the behaviour I want, unfortunately the cable is short and this keyboard cannot be used normally. I have a rather cheap wireless keyboard which uses a USB wireless receiver, it also uses the generic USB keyboard d

Window 10 fn Bluetooth keyboard does not work

We would like to make a follow-up regarding this issue. Are you able to use the
fn key on your Designer Desktop keyboard after performing the troubleshooting steps in the

link that we provided? If the issue persists, kindly tell us the troubleshooting steps that you have tried.

In the meantime, we suggest that you
update the keyboard or Human Interface Device driver on your computer.
While it's likely you already have the most recent driver, if you're having trouble with a device, you can try fixing it by updating the driver or reinstalling it.

Windows 10 FN Key issues.

Very disappointed that my model is not listed. After spending two days searching online for an answer to the Fn key problem, I really don't want to roll back to 8.1. I have plugged in a spare keyboard as a temporary solution. I will do some more research
as the Fn key is the only issue I have with Windows 10 so far. I called Toshiba today and their only suggestion was to call Microsoft and gave me their phone #....there is a 1.5 hour wait...

 

Getting "special" keys on Apple Bluetooth Keyboard to work with Win 10


I have Windows 10 (upgraded from Win 7.1) installed on an iMac on a Bootcamp partition. When I was running Windows 7.1, all the function keys (to control brightness, volume, music playing) worked perfectly. Now under Windows 10 none of them work. And yes, I did go into the setup and try turning on and off the check box for whether or not the keys performed as Function keys with and without holding the FN key.
Any ideas/suggestions? If I go into Bluetooth devices, the keyboard is shown properly as an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard.
