    Windows 11 gets stuck on both the "restart" and "shutdown" screens.


    Windows 11 gets stuck on both the "restart" and "shutdown" screens, forcing a shutdown works but i would rather not do that every single time i have to turn off my pc.I tried to boot the pc in safe mode and just got a black screen.

    I tried to shutdown and restart my pc but both times they STUCK! I left it for 15 minutes and still had to force shutdown

    When you say "force shutdown" you mean you hit the power button?

    Try from a CLI:
    shutdown.exe /force

    Windows 10 pro will not shutdown or restart. Gets stuck

    Usually a sign of memory going south. Try booting using one stick only (and change the stick if you have to).
