Windows 10: Windows 11 - Going into "Sleep" temporarily while user still active on machine

To summarise, I'm trying to help out a friend. They've been using their Lenovo laptop quite frequently and it'll randomly go to a completely black screen, wait a few moments, and then come back, this seemed to happen every hour, my guess is it's each hour from when they turn on the machine.It's also worth noting I'm not sure if this is "Sleep" persay, since as far as I know, sleep should store the system state to the RAM till the power button is pressed again. The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

 

Windows 11 Not Going to Sleep

Using Windows 11 Pro. Unit is not going to sleep, despite trying variations on power options. Have followed all the steps here: Fix Windows 11 Sleep Mode Not Working . Windows 11 does not go to sleep

My Windows 11 desktop does not turn off the screen after the specified time. It also does not go into sleep mode after the specified time. I have tried all the steps suggested in this thread and still not good. I do not have any joy stick or anything like that attached. It used to work that a few months ago it quit. The only thing that happened was routine Windows updates.
