    Windows 11 hangs randomly, most of the time within a minute or two from login


    HiMy system is brand new, clean installation and everything, almost nothing is even installed, just windows and it already hanged twice two minutes after I logged in, had to do a hard reboot.I exported the system properties NFO file and also the event log if someone can have a look and give me a clue to the reason and how to handle it, this would be highly appreciated!Thanks!Will provide the details and files to someone to have a look...

    Laptop randomly hangs while in sleep mode

    Good thing I kept the reports. Windows 11 hangs randomly, most of the time within a minute or two from login :) Attached below. Don't know why the other thread disappeared -- maybe because it wasn't a real BSOD?

    Looks like chkdsk /r /v has to be run at boot time, and many of the next steps (installing drivers, etc) are going to take more time than I have today. I'll get back to it later.

    The HP Diagnostics at that link is only a 32-bit app. The only Hardware Diagnostics I see on my laptop is just a log file. Should I run the UEFI tests?

    HD Tune: I let it sit on the Health tab for quite a while and nothing happened. I tried hitting Update, I set it to 1-minute update, nothin'. The Log is empty too.

    pc 'hangs' or freezes randomly

    While in use suddenly nothing responds to mouse or keyboard for long minutes, then starts up again ok for a few minutes. Have tried all usual restart/etc. online suggestions without luck.

    Have found in Task Manager - Processes - there are listed 4 'Suspended" items, Could they be the culprits causing the 'hang or freeze'.

    Can't determine exactly what the suspended are so am hesitant to 'End Task' them.

    Login hangs

    Hello everyone.

    It is my first time here though I have searched high and low within the forum to find what's going on with my machine. It is running Windows 10 Home edition and ever since I added a user account on there for my wife it has been hanging at the login screen.

    After waking from sleep or booting it gets to the lock screen with pretty wallpaper and time/date. I click the screen to pull up the login screen and it just hangs, eventually returning to the lock screen. Eventually after quite some time(often in the 5-7 minute range) a click will actually pull up the login screen.

    I have tried turning on airplane mode on the lock screen so that it's not trying to connect or anything but that doesn't solve the issue. I am pulling hair out on this and tired of getting yelled at by the Mrs. Any advice?
