Windows 10: Windows 11 Headsets recognized as speakers

Good Afternoon, Hope all is well! I have recently purchased the Hyper X Cloud II Wireless gaming headsets. Right after I insert the USB connector into my laptop, it has beendetected as a speaker. I have done a few tweaks on disabling some unwanted speakers/audio inputs, and I have renamed and changed the icon as well...still, it is recognized as a speaker. The purpose of why I need to get this resolved is that some software isn't recognizing my headsets.the audio only plays directly to my laptop speakers. How do I have my headsets recognized as actual headsets and not as speakers? PS: there se

Windows 10 recognizes my UE Megaboom as a headset and not a speaker will not work?

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately this did not solve the problem. I followed the steps but no luck.

Device manager still says WonderBoom headset paired it does not recognize it as a speaker as all. Any other suggestions, please.

Gaming headset recognized as speaker on windows 11

I just bought Lenovo H402 Gaming Headset and when I tried it on my laptop *windows 11* it recognized as a speaker and there's no surrounded sound which why I bought the headset in the first place , I tried everything updating drivers deleting and reinstalling and everything I could think of but still the same issue
btw I tired the same headset on windows 10 it was working just fine so the problem is with windows 11 and I searched for solutions it turned out this issue comes a lot on Lenovo headsets on windows 11 so are you telling me that now I have to get another headset just because a whole team working on this windows can't find a solution ?

PS : I can't go back to windows 10 because the backup got deleted by itself to "clean some memory" , thank you windows didn't ask you to!

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set.
