Windows 10: Windows 11 - Hello Pin Creation Sign In Loop

I have an interesting issue I've run into. When trying to sign into a fresh clean install of Windows 11 using a "Work or School Account" it logs me in and does the MFA challenge. Once the challenge is complete it brings me to the Windows Hello Pin creation. When going into the next screen I get the following screen loop with only one option "Try Again". Of course clicking try again it just brings up the same error over and over again. Is there something in the AAD I need to enable to get this to work? The Error code attached when I looked it up HERE says 0x80090010 is NTE_PERM and is an

Hello & PIN sign-in options missing

Hi,

The Hello (face recognition) and PIN options have disappeared from the sign-in options on my Dell Inspiron running Windows 10.

This occurred after having to resolve a SecureBoot problem - likely to be due to a recent automatic upgrade.

Each time I try and set a new image and new PIN, I get caught in a loop for the PIN and the image for Hello never successfully forces through creation of Hello and PIN sign-in options.

Any suggestions?

• How are you setting the PIN and Hello?
• Which build version of Windows is your PC running on?
• Were there any error codes or messages?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to set up PIN.

• Open Settings.
• Select Accounts.
• Click Sign-in options.
• Click the Add button for the PIN and set your PIN.
• Do the same for the Windows Hello.

Windows Hello and Pin sign on

Hi I am having issues with windows hello and the pin creation. I have two scenarios both of which don't fully work.

I turned on my PC and windows hello which was working perfectly said I need to set up a pin. I could not add a pin, every time I went to nothing would happen so I followed steps to delete the contents of the NGC folder as other forum posts reccomended. I
can now set up a pin which works to sign in. However, when I try to set up windows hello it asks for the pin, which I enter, it makes a sound to say it is correct and then does absolutely nothing.

Alternatively, I can remove the pin and try setting up windows hello. This does start the facial recognition and then asks me to set up a pin which I enter and end the process. However, neither windows hello or the pin is set up next time I try to sign in.

Specs:

HP Envy

Windows version: 10.0.15063 Build 15063
