Windows 10: Windows 11 - High CPU/SSD/Fan Specifically During Idle or Sleep

I'm a developer and run numerous developer tools throughout the day. Vscode, Data Studio, Postman, tons of Edge tabs, Teams, etc. While I am using my computer, the fan only comes on rarely, usually while one of these programs is loading.When I step away from my computer and let it idle, cpu usage spikes, ssd usage increases, and the fan starts going full blast. If I start typing or moving the mouse, things "go back to normal" and everything is quiet.The same thing happens when I put the computer to sleep. And similarly, everything goes back to normal when I wake the computer from sleep.I w

CPU fan not working properly

The fans are always idle no matter how hot the cpu gets, its hottest ive seen it at is 83 degrees Celsius. the cooling policy is active but they always run low idle, they used to speed up all the time now they don't.does anybody have any suggestions?

High CPU Usage at Idle

Hey guys, recently my W10 PC seems to be using a fair bit of CPU. I noticed this because my Battlefield 1 fps appeared to have dropped. First thing I did was roll back my nvidia drivers to the previous version, but then I noticed my cpu usage. I seem to be using 35-45% cpu usage at idle. I've never seen it go below 35% (In safe mode its around 2-3%).

Things i've tried:
- Sfc scannow at boot (it found & fixed a few things)
- chkdsk /f at boot
- Stuff from here: Windows 10 High CPU Usage Fixes
- Superantispyware scan

Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction!

Windows 10 Display Blinking with High CPU

After upgrade to Windows 10, experiencing flashing display and high CPU.

• At initial logon screen everything is normal - wall paper and logon screen display with no blinking
• After logon, fan starts as CPU usage spikes, cursor is accompanied by the spinning blue circle
• touchscreen does not respond to swipe to access Recovery/Safe mode for reboot
• able to get to Task Manager and Perfmon to see high CPU usage and explorer.exe is suspended

looking for suggestions on how to either fix or roll back to Windows 8.1
