Windows 10: windows 11 high ram usage WHILE just using laptop 16 GB Ram

I’ve been experiencing unusually high RAM usage on my Windows 11 machine. The system seems to be consuming more memory than expected, even with minimal applications running. Despite closing background programs, the RAM usage remains high, causing the system to slow down and become unresponsive at times.What could be causing this issue, and how can I identify the root cause? Are there any specific tools or settings in Windows 11 that can help optimize RAM usage or track down the source of the problem? Additionally, are there any common software or system settings that are known to contribute to

New laptop but high ram usage

hey i bought a hp victus laptop recently and have windows 11 i have updated all the windows updates but still the ram usage is unusally high like in idle mode too the ram usage is high
since it is new laptop i don't have many applications also
but still ram usage is above 60%
pls help

So this is the problem, From the time I bought this brand new IdeaPad Flex 5 (itlo5) 14" laptop, there has always been high ram usage when I look in task manager. The ram usage has always been around 80%. I have tried to clean install windows (which removes all bloatware from the manufacturer) but there is still high ram usage. My old HP laptop had the same amount of ram as this laptop (4GB) but the speed of the ram was slower. And the ram usage had been lower than this laptop!

While it's good to troubleshoot high RAM usage, there is nothing wrong with Windows using your RAM, that's what it's there for and any not used is wasted. Where it becomes a problem is if it ever maxes out, so it it regularly uses high enough RAM that it maxes out then you'll want to troubleshoot it to find and fix the problem.
