Windows 10: Windows 11 Home activation issue - Failed Product key

So I built a desktop PC about a year ago from a former tech professional coworker's recommendations, bought Windows 11 Home USB from Best Buy, installed, everything worked great. About 4 months in, suddenly the product key was invalid and I got stuck with the "Activate Windows". I contacted Microsoft support and a lady helped me troubleshoot for a week straight. Super nice, super helpful. We tried redownloading, she pulled product keys from some database she had idk it was early 2024, memory is a little fuzzy on that bit, nothing worked. She said microsoft couldn't replace the old product

   • In the Settings menu, click on "Update & Security."

4. Enter Product Key:
   
   • If you have a product key, click on "Change product key" and enter the key when prompted.
     
5. Use Digital License:
   
   • If your Windows 11 was linked to your Microsoft account, you might see an option to troubleshoot and link your digital license. Click on this option and follow the prompts.
     
6. Restart Your Computer:
   
   • After entering the product key or linking your digital license, restart your computer.
     
7. Verification:
   
   • Go back to the Activation section in Settings to verify that Windows 11 is now activated.

Have you tried logging in with the account linked to the digital license on your device? I've provided a few steps you can try including some more you can follow:

1. Link your Microsoft account: Ensure that your Microsoft account is linked to the digital license on your device. Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info and check if your Microsoft account is listed there. If not, click "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead" to link your account.
   
2. Run the Activation Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > System > Activation, and click the "Troubleshoot" button. This will launch the Activation Troubleshooter, which can help reactivate Windows after a hardware change if your Microsoft account is linked correctly.
   
3. Enter your existing product key: If the Troubleshooter doesn't resolve the issue, try entering your existing Windows 11 Pro product key. Go to Settings > System > Activation, and click "Change product key." Enter the key you used previously to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
