    Hey all! I come here out of desperation as I've found short term workarounds but no permanent solution. I am running Windows 11 Home 23H2 build 22631.3593 on a custom PC AORUS X570 Elite - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X - 64GB RAM. On occasion, typically after a restart, I start seeing Windows Security notifications that look like this:All access to external USB drives is blocked once I see one of these. I am unable to take ownership of the devices, manage security settings for the devices, and they appear to be completely empty when in this state.     Program to monitor USB connected devices and alert to changes?

    Just wondering if there are any programs out there that can capture the current list of USB connected devices, then regularly poll for changes and alert the user as to what has changed. I have an issue where, sometimes, a USB device will not be recognized when I boot or switch PC's on my KVM. Sometimes it happens after using the computer for a while. Unfortunately, when the device is not recognized, there is no way to really identify what it is. I've swapped out EVERYTHING, but still see this issue. Different KVM, keyboard, mouse, webcam, USB hub, completely new PC, fresh Windows installation... etc. It would be great to be able to capture the current list of USB devices manually, then have the computer pop up an alert when this list changes.

    Restrict access to Windows programs name?

    Hi!

    A year ago i had to set up an public internet PC and i installed a program from Microsoft but now that i have to install another public PC i have forgotten the programs name.. any idea which program from Microsoft restricts unnessasary access to Windows?

    Unable to access USB device

    Hi, I have Microsoft 11. I have inserted a USB device but I am not seeing the device under "This PC". I am seeing the device listed under "Settings", "Bluetooth & Devices", "other devices" (connected to USB 3.0). . What step can I take to access this device?
