Windows 10: Windows 11 Home Edition faults before install with new PC build, 0xc0000098,...

I am trying to install Windows 11 Home edition via a CD on a new PC build that has never had an OS on it. When the CD starts to run, I see a Windows emblem and then a blue screen saying "Recovery, your PC/device needs to be repaired". Then it lists the following:File:\windows\system32\boot\winload.efiError code: 0xc0000098It tells me I need to use recovery tools, but how is this possible since Windows has never been installed on the system. Searches so far have all yielded tips and tricks all based on a system that previous had a working windows OS on it running. I can find nothing about a

Installing Windows 11 on New PC Build

Hello - I am running into an issue while trying to install Windows 11 on my new PC build.

I am able to get to the step where Windows wants to connect to a network in order to continue with the installation. However, I am not identifying any networks whatsoever. I have tried WiFi as well as having the PC plugged directly into the router via an ethernet cable. However, I continue to get stuck on this screen (screen shot below).

Error 0xc0000098 can't install windows 10 on new build

I just build my first pc, i'm having trouble installing windows.

i created a usb with the creationtool, but i keep getting the message 0xc0000098 error.

is it not possible to install windows with creationtool

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
