    I'm installing Windows 11 Home on a machine which has a large used harddrive nearly 4tb. The installation is going well but it currently is stuck 'fixing' this large drive. My question is can I forcibly restart the machine, disconnect the drive, and restart the Windows 11 installation without damaging:1. The files on the harddrive being fixed2. The hard drive itself3. The rest of the harddrive of the newly built machine.The reason I would like to forgo fixing this drive is the ETA to finish 'fixing' it is over 24 hours and this machine needs to be operational before then.     Windows might have been accumulated large drive space due to installed apps, temporary files, or etc. For us to identify which item mostly accumulates your drive space, we suggest that you check it here:

    • Click on Start.
    • Type Storage, and then press Enter.
    • Under Local Storage, click on This
      PC (CWindows 11 Home Install Fixing Large Used Hard Drive Space :).
    • On this window, you will see which item mot accumulate your drive space.
