Windows 10: Windows 11 Home to Pro/Business?

What is the difference between Windows 11 Business and Pro ?

There is no actual Windows 11 edition named Business, Microsoft considers Windows 11 Pro, Pro for Workstations, Enterprise and Enterprise LTSC to be Windows for Business,

Their terminology can sometimes be confusing, but rest assured, if you have Windows 11 Pro, that is a Windows licence for Business, they also provide volume licence versions of those Business editions for large companies.

Dear super users,

After we bought a Lenovo desktop with Windows 11 Pro, the version of the license key state "Windows 11 Business".

I've searched this version but always end up on information pages that mention Windows 11 but not Business.

Is there any definitive answer somewhere on why this is showing Business instead of Pro ?

Unable to downgrade from Windows 11 Business to Windows 11 Pro

We are trying to downgrade from windows 11 Business to Windows 11 Pro. The windows 11 business is in trial so an activation message is active. I change the product key with a valid new bought Windows 11 Pro license key, it accepts it and its active for 1 day (activation message disappears). No windows upgrade is triggered and in System information i still see the Windows 11 Business. I have done this for at least three times. I also checked with slmgr /ato and it says that the key is activated.

I also tried with a ISO image from the official windows 11 website, the setup locate the upgrade to change it into Windows 11 Pro.

The whole procedure was done, several restarts., progress bars etc .. after i logon and waited the waiting screen (Hi, getting things started, almost there etc) i still see the Windows 11 Business in System Information.

Can you support me on this issue?
