Windows 10: Windows 11 hotspot not working

I use an ethernet cable for my internet and I connect to my laptop's hotspot for my phone. However since around a week or so ago, the hotspot is not working. I googled around and found that a new update caused some issues with it but it is not that in my case. The thing is the hotspot turns on but I am not able to connect to it. I ran windows troubleshooter and it found that something is preventing my device from sharing it's connection due to security.Here is the message from windows troubleshooter:"Security or Firewall settings might be blocking the connection"When viewing the details I can

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter
